The Beaujolais vineyards nestle in the first buttresses of the Massif Centrale where many little vallevs criss cross clown to the Saône plain.
The beautiful Cherves valley is one of them, and on a western flank the 4 hectares of Beaujolais Villages vines achieve their full potential on the very steep granitic slopes that make tractor access impossible and gives the wines the strength and hardiness of true mountain dwellers.
The wine is vinified at the Manoir du Pavé over 5 to 6 days to bring out the aromas of fresh grapes and lively flavours.
This Beaujolais Village is a very good accompaniment to delicatessen meats, poultry, cheeses and in the autumn, when it is drunk as nouveau, walnuts.
